Working with Lindsay of Lori Elms Design Group was a wonderful experience. Our new home required a designer’s touch and Lindsay really helped our personal style come to life. Unsure of what our space needed, Lindsay suggested floor to ceiling, wall to wall sheer draperies. We are so happy with how this concept transformed our space. Her design suggestions were both functional and on par with our modern but cozy taste.

When my husband and I decided to build a log cabin, we asked Lori to join the design process very early. Her experience and advice were invaluable and saved us costly mistakes. From blueprints to wall prints, Lori guided creation of our wonderful cabin. We couldn’t be more pleased. Lori Elms is a gifted interior designer. Perhaps her greatest skill is the ability to interpret our project wishes and dreams, and then make them a treasured reality.

We first contacted Lori to help us with the goal of “modernizing” our 35 year old house which turned into a year long renovation/refurbishment project. Lori was involved in every aspect of the project, from designing the layout and cabinets for the bathrooms, kitchen and dining room to selecting all new flooring, plumbing and light fixtures, wall colours, granite & marble countertops, blinds, furniture and bedding. Lori was great at finding creative solutions such as custom furniture to perfectly fit our living and family rooms and a magnificent 9 foot dining table made by local craftsmen. The project would have been overwhelming had it not been for Lori’s talent and experience, she helped us navigate through the hundreds of decisions that needed to be made with understanding, patience and a good sense of humour! With Lori’s help, our house has been transformed into exactly what we wanted, a beautiful, contemporary and comfortable home. It was a real pleasure working with Lori and we highly recommend her!
